Mysteries of
the Deep
Premieres November 26, 2002
Stories of the submarines and their pioneering crews that explored earth's last
frontier — from the ill-fated Confederate secret weapon, Hunley, which
carried out the world's first successful submarine attack, to the deep-diving
Alvin, which found the Titanic and discovered life in the deep ocean.
On November 26 and
December 3, 2002 the H. L. Hunley will be featured on the PBS
program "Scientific American Frontiers" hosted by Alan Alda. The film
crew visited the Warren Lasch Conservation Center during the
excavation of the submarine. The program is scheduled for Tuesday,
November 26th at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time on PBS. To be sure you don't
