The musty, black water in Charleston Harbor at night is fearsome at sea level....when you can't even see your hand inches away from your face.

Under water in a black metal tube, dependent on a single candle to see what your doing and to gauge the amount of oxygen left in this drum of a ship...........WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT?
